About the Maserati Ghibli

Representing the pinnacle of four-door luxury and sport-focused performance, the Maserati Ghibli has remained a perennial favorite since its introduction in 1966. Drivers will have their choice of two potent twin-turbocharged V6 engines, and one staggeringly powerful twin-turbocharged V8. All three engines come with a standard 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, and five customizable drive modes to help transform your daily commute into a memorable experience. Inside, you’ll be surrounded by classic Italian design along with a collection of premium materials for unparalleled comfort. From available Ermenegildo Zegna silk upholstery to a 15-speaker Bowers & Wilkins Surround Sound system — the Maserati Ghibli has an array of amenities to impress even the most discerning passengers. Additionally, a comprehensive collection of advanced driver-assistive safety technologies keeps you prepared for unexpected issues when you’re behind the wheel of a Ghibli.

What the Critics Say

“The Ghibli, on the other hand, still appears fresh and youthful in this cookie-cutter segment. It has a focus on raw performance that the others cannot mimic, and its Italian personality seeps from every nut and bolt. Fun and entertaining, with a very characteristic charm – it’s an exclusive rarity in the premium midsize sedan segment.” — Forbes

“You'd expect as much from Maserati, and indeed the Ghibli is a more distinctive choice compared to the typical luxury sedans from America, Europe and Japan. Like many Italians, it's a car that appeals first and foremost to your heart, and it's easy to see why when the Ferrari-derived 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 sings such a sweet song.” — Edmunds

Proven Performance

The Ghibli offers your choice of two twin-turbocharged V6 engines and one twin-turbo V8 built exclusively by Ferrari at their factory in Maranello, Italy which deliver 345, 424, or 580 horsepower for an exhilarating drive. Five drive modes selected using buttons near the gear lever instantly adapts to your driving preferences. In Auto Sport mode, gearshifts take place in less than 100 milliseconds and at higher revs. ICE (Increased Control & Efficiency) mode provides improved control in all weather conditions, optimized fuel consumption, and the most comfortable engine response.
